A portrait is the bust or full body of one pet painted in watercolor. For an additional charge, I can paint two or more pets together, and add floral embellishments or a background.
I can paint all animals including dogs, cats, horses, birds, reptiles, and more!
Portraits can be done in a range of sizes including: 4x6, 5x7, 8x8, 8x10, 7x11, 10x12, 11x14, 12x15, 16x20 and more

Timing: Paintings can take up to 4 weeks to be complete. Please factor this time into your order particularly for holiday or birthday gifting.
Paper size: The size of the paper is approximate and may be off by up to a half-inch due to the nature of the hand-torn Arches watercolor paper. Please do not plan framing for your painting until you know the exact size of your custom artwork, which can be measured upon request before delivery.
Your photos: choosing the right image is important. Your pet should be at a good angle and in good lighting, up-close and detailed. However, feel free to choose your absolute favorite photo, and I will do my very best to work with the images you have. If you send multiple photos I can help you choose the best photo to paint.
Protection: Do not expose your painting to water. Original watercolor paintings are best framed behind glass unless wax sealed.
